More than £1,500 was raised at a charity fashion show at St Barnabas Church Hall in Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 17 March 2018.
Lauren Allen, Retail Manager of the Camden Road charity shop, Tunbridge Wells said: “The evening was a huge success and a lot of fun with models showcasing a selection of our clothes including designer fashion labels from our shop on the runway. We would like to thank everyone who attended and everyone else involved for all their support and generosity which makes a huge difference to those facing terminal illness in our local community”.
Money was raised through ticket sales and a raffle during the evening, which included afternoon tea at One Warwick Park, a travel clock from Harry Collins of G Collins & Sons, Personal Jeweller to the Queen of England and a beauty hamper and goody bags donated by the department store, Hoopers.
The next ellenor Camden Road event ‘The Mad Hatter's Tea Party’ will be held on Saturday 12 May in the shop. There will be fabulous themed goodies to eat and drink; you’ll be able to meet the characters from Wonderland and have your picture taken in a Tweedledum and Tweedledee photostand.
